"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." -Lao Tzu

Off-Grid Sport Fishing offers multi-species pelagic fishing and fishing tactics instruction, hailing out of the Shark River Inlet in Belmar, NJ and accessing one of the finest fisheries on the East Coast.

Who We Are
FV Off-Grid is a Boston Whaler 280 Outrage center console with twin Mercury Verado 300 hp engines. Cruising speed is 26 knots or faster depending on sea conditions allowing for quick trips to the fishing grounds.
While our actual range depends on sea conditions, our total fuel capacity allows us to reach the canyons safely with plenty of reserve fuel for unforeseen conditions.
We offer on-the-water instruction, both nearshore and offshore, demersal (ground) and pelagic (migratory) targeting tactics and fishing techniques , bait fish locating tools and techniques, and equipment and tackle selection, application, and usage. We only use the most up-to-date, safest, highest quality, and best maintained vessel and fishing/boating equipment.
